Kathmandu, Pokhara, & Chitwan Tour for 8 Days

TRIP Outline :

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your customs formalities. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the late afternoon, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to the old royal palace of the former Kathmandu Kingdom, and the iconic Swoyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, which offers stunning views of the valley. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Sightseeing
Start your day with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples. Next, transfer to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in Nepal, where you can immerse yourself in Tibetan culture and cuisine. Continue your journey to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, renowned for its rich history and stunning architecture. After a day of exploration, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Chitwan
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan (approximately 180 km, 5-6 hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy lunch at the hotel restaurant. Later, participate in a Tharu culture program or visit a nearby village. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your hotel in Chitwan. Optional rafting on the Trishuli River is available, with morning shifts starting at 9:00 AM.

Day 04: Chitwan Jungle Activities
Today begins with a canoe ride along the Rapti River, an excellent opportunity for birdwatching and spotting rare crocodile species. Following this, embark on a jeep or elephant safari, where you can observe various wildlife, including deer, rhinoceroses, wild boars, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Overnight at your hotel in Chitwan. (Note: Activities may vary based on property.)

Day 05: Chitwan to Pokhara
After breakfast, visit the Government Elephant Breeding Centre before driving towards Pokhara. If time permits, stop at Jalbire Waterfall. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and enjoy a scenic boat ride on Phewa Lake, where you can visit Taal Barahi Temple. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 06: Pokhara Sightseeing
Start your day early with a sunrise view from Sarangkot Hill (subject to weather conditions). Then, visit Bindabasini Temple before returning to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, explore Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, and the World Peace Pagoda, a symbol of peace located on a hill overlooking the Pokhara Valley and Fewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

Optional Activities:

• Ultra Light Flight: Experience breathtaking aerial views of the mountains and lakes.
• Zip Flying: Enjoy a thrilling ride over the picturesque landscape of Pokhara.
• Paragliding: Soar over the stunning valley and enjoy panoramic views.
• Bungee Jumping: Take a leap from Nepal's first and only tower bungee jump.

Day 07: Drive to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu (about 210 km, 6-7 hours depending on traffic). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 08: Kathmandu - Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend your free time at leisure until your departure. Later, you will be transferred to the international airport for your onward journey.

Optional: Consider a Mountain Flight for breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
