Embark on a divine 10-day journey through Uttarakhand’s sacred Chardham sites — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Starting from Haridwar/Rishikesh/Dehradun, the tour covers picturesque locations like Kempty Falls, Mussoorie, Harsil, and Panch Prayag. Experience spiritual bliss with temple visits, scenic treks, and serene landscapes. Key highlights include Yamunotri and Kedarnath treks (with pony/doli options), a helicopter alternative to Kedarnath, darshan at Gangotri and Badrinath temples, and the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Haridwar/Rishikesh. This well-rounded pilgrimage ensures comfort with pre-arranged stays, transportation, and meals — making it a soul-soothing, unforgettable journey through the Himalayas.

TRIP Outline :

Day 1: Dehradun/Haridwar/Rishikesh - Barkot (180 km / 5-6 hrs)

  • Pick up from Haridwar/Rishikesh/Dehradun railway station.

  • Drive to Barkot via Kempty Falls and a scenic view of outer Mussoorie.

  • Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot - Janki Chatti (50 km / 1 hr) - Yamunotri (6 km trek) - Return to Barkot

  • After breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti.

  • Start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple (pony, palki, and doli options available at your own cost).

  • After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot - Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

  • After breakfast, check out and proceed to Uttarkashi.

  • Visit Vishwanath Temple and nearby attractions.

  • Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is for relaxation. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

(Uttarkashi is located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple and iconic iron trident.)

Day 4: Uttarkashi - Harsil - Gangotri (100 km / 3-4 hrs one way) - Return to Uttarkashi

  • After breakfast, drive to Gangotri (3,048 meters above sea level).

  • En route, explore the picturesque Harsil Valley, Bhagirathi River, and stunning Himalayan views.

  • After darshan at Gangotri Temple, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (218 km / 7-8 hrs)

  • Post breakfast, check out and head to Guptkashi.

  • Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 6: Guptkashi - Sonprayag (30 km) - Gaurikund - Kedarnath (14 km trek)

  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Sonprayag.

  • From Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund (at your own cost).

  • Start the 14 km trek to Kedarnath (palki, pony, and doli options available at your own cost).

  • On arrival, check in at the hotel. (Meals not included at Kedarnath hotel)

  • Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Optional:

  • Kedarnath by Helicopter:

    • After breakfast, drive to the helipad, board the helicopter to Kedarnath.

    • Walk to the temple, check in at the hotel, and stay overnight in Kedarnath.

Day 7: Kedarnath - Guptkashi (Return by same route)

  • Early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple.

  • Trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi.

  • Check-in and stay overnight at Guptkashi.

Day 8: Guptkashi - Joshimath - Pandukeshwar/Govindghat - Badrinath (218 km / 7-8 hrs)

  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.

  • Visit the Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, then proceed to Badrinath.

  • Check-in to the hotel. After refreshment, visit Badrivishal Temple.

  • Dinner and overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 9: Badrinath - Panch Prayag - Rudraprayag (155 km / 5-6 hrs)

  • Early morning bath at Tapt Kund, followed by Badrivishal Darshan.

  • Brahma Kapal is an important site for Pind Daan (ritual for ancestors).

  • After breakfast, check out and head to Rudraprayag via Panch Prayag (a confluence of five sacred rivers).

  • Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 10: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar/Dehradun (130 km / 3-4 hrs)

  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Rishikesh.

  • Sightseeing includes Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan.

  • Continue to Haridwar for Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

  • Drop-off at Haridwar/Rishikesh/Dehradun railway station for your onward journey.

✅ Money Matters: Keep enough cash for personal expenses — ATMs are scarce in remote areas.

  • Air Conditioning: AC will not operate in hilly areas.
  • Kedarnath Stay: Accommodation in Kedarnath will be on a sharing basis.
  • Helicopter Tickets: Helicopter tickets from Phata/Guptkashi to Kedarnath are not included.
  • Meals at Kedarnath: Breakfast and dinner at Kedarnath hotel are excluded.
  • Trekking Assistance: Expenses for Poni, Doli, and Porter services during the Yamunotri and Kedarnath treks are at your own cost.
  • Special Services: Charges for Special Pooja and VIP Darshan at Kedarnath and Badrinath temples are excluded.
  • Travel Tickets: Train and flight tickets are not part of the package.
  • Additional Sightseeing: Visits to Neelkanth Temple, Lakhamandal, Triyuginarayan, Ukhimath, Kalimath, Chopta, Auli, or any other extra spots not mentioned in the itinerary are excluded.
