This 9-day Buddhist Circuit pilgrimage by KT DMC Travels is designed to help you follow the footsteps of Lord Buddha through India and Nepal. Begin in Varanasi with a visit to Sarnath where Buddha delivered his first sermon, continue to Bodh Gaya—the land of enlightenment—and travel through important Buddhist sites like Rajgir, Nalanda, Kushinagar, Lumbini, and Sravasti. The itinerary features daily sightseeing, guided visits to major temples, stupas, monasteries, and historical landmarks, ensuring a spiritually enriching and hassle-free experience for devotees, monks, and heritage travelers alike.

Travel Itinerary :

Day 1 : Arrival at Varanasi / visit Sarnath , where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Check-in to your Hotel , Overnight Stay in Varanasi

Day 2 : Varanasi to Bodh Gaya : Drive towards Bodh Gaya (6-7 Hrs) The Land of Buddha’s Enlightenment. Overnight Stay in Bodh Gaya.

Day 3 : Bodh Gaya : Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree and other temples and monasteries Overnight Stay in Bodh Gaya.

Day 4 : Rajgir – Nalanda : visit Rajgir 2 Hrs (Vulture’s Peak & World Peace Pagoda) and Ancient Nalanda University Ruins Evening drive to Patna.Overnight Stay in Patna

Day 5 : Patna to Kushinagar : After Breakfast ,depart to Kushinagar(7 Hrs). Visit Mahaparinirvana temple. Check-in to your Hotel .Overnight Stay in Kushinagar.

Day 6 : Kushinagar to Lumbini : After breakfast , depart to the birthplace of Buddha , in Nepal (4 Hrs). Visit Mayadevi temple & stupas in Lumbini.Overnight Stay in Lumbini,
